Today I am thrilled to be able to add something to our list of accomplishments. I’m asking our community to please join me in celebrating Sameerah Elder, who has been named Administrator of the Year by the Pennsylvania Assisted Living Association!
Sameerah has been with Moravian Village since 2007. Starting as a CNA, she earned her LPN license in 2021, and her Personal Care Home Administrator License in 2022. At every milestone in her career at Moravian, Sameerah has grown and excelled.
This honor is a true reflection of her exceptional leadership, unwavering dedication, and deep commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care each and every day. Her passion for serving others, supporting our team, and creating a warm, welcoming environment for our residents and their families does not go unnoticed.
Sameerah is the best kind of leader; she leads by example. Her guidance, hard work, and genuine heart have inspired excellence in everyone around her. She leads with kindness, strength, and integrity, consistently going above and beyond to ensure that both residents and staff feel valued, respected, and supported. It is no coincidence that one of her staff nominated her for this award.
