Covering our Bases

As an activities professional, it is important to cover all your basis. Its about looking at the general population and taking note of who is and who isn’t attending our diverse programs throughout the week. Needs must be met and that is what we do here at Moravian Village. We get to know our residents through casual conversation and fine tune programming accordingly.

As of January 2025 we expanded our activities into the early evenings on select days. Monday’s see interactive games like trivia, rebus puzzles and (coming soon) Pictionary. Wednesday’s feature weekly discussions that are resident inspired. Some things in life you can’t schedule a month in advance, but you can schedule a broad topic for residents to decide. Wednesday discussions are never announced until the day of. What will we be talking about? What will we see? These are things some of our residents look forward to. A respite from the daily grind and a chance to have something random. You never know what will happen on a Monday or Wednesday night, but it will be fun and/or informative for those who want to attend.

We strive to provide activities for you every step of the way in life. When one chooses to live here, they aren’t just choosing a fun place to retire. They are expecting Moravian Village to meet their social needs from their healthy here and now through the thick and thin that life may bring. From circuit training to painting, It’s safe to say we have our basis covered here.
